Something Out of Nothing

Professional

I'm a self-taught Mac geek, having majored in philosophy at Central Methodist University in 1993. I first discovered the internet at my first job as a technology assistant for the special education department of the Olathe District Schools in the form of a local BBS. From that moment on I was hooked.

After a varied career in Corporate America serving many different functions, from market research at ETC Institute to tech support and technical writing at Cerner Corporation, I started my own small consulting company Jake Fowler Consulting.

I am also now employed by the Kansas City Art Institute as the Faculty Liaison and Project Manager in Campus Technology.
