Spring Fever

I’ve been thinking about starting to write again. I have ideas throughout the day – “I should put that on my blog,” but then I don’t.

For example, this morning I figured out why I like jasmine tea so much. It’s like drinking Spring. It reminds me of honeysuckle smells, warm sun on my face, and a feeling of newness, the joy of life. It’s only a faint hint of it, but it;s enough.

I know, that was kind of cheesy. But I was really thinking about it, and I thought I should record it somewhere.

We went to see Pan’s Labyrinth last night. It was creepy beautiful. Some hard to watch violence in it, but the special effects were stunning, and in no way overdone. It’s definitely one I could watch over and over.

I guess it was the cardinal I heard this morning when I took the dogs out that has me thinking of Spring. I am ready for it. We’ve had the longest cold spell I can remember. I like Winter; I’m usually ready for it when it comes. But the temperatures being this low, for this long actually had me wondering if it would ever warm up.

This has been a rambling post, but at least it’s something. Hopefully I can get myself back into the habit.

  1. I too love jasmine tea with enthusiasm that borders on obsession. I even had a jasmine bubble tea yesterday from Tea Drop but the bubbles were mushy. IT made me wish I had just asked for the tea sans bubbles since it tainted my jasmine tea joy.

I recommend looking for Mighty Leaf Mountain Spring Jasmine tea. You can order off their website. Its unholy good.
