Last Day in the Land of Lethargia!

That’s right! Today I get my full body scan to see the results of the radiation treatment! IF all goes well I can start taking my Synthroid immediately. AND, my wonderful endocrinologist gave me a prescription for a jump start medication, since the Synthroid can take up to three weeks to get me going again. I’ll take that along with the Synthroid, so I should be feeling normal again in no time! Woohoo!

On a slightly different note, I’m reading “Glass Soup” by Jonathan Carroll and thoroughly enjoying it. He’s right up there with Neil Gaimon as far as I’m concerned, and slightly weirder. This is the second book of his I’ve read, the first being his first work – “The Land of Laughs.” I would be hard pressed to tell you what this one is about yet, and I’m a third into it. His stories are like that, full of surprises and quirks that he fits together perfectly at the end. If you like Neil, check out Jonathan Carroll

Hope everything goes as planned tomorrow and that you’re back to normal soon. Thanks for the book suggestion. I’ll check it out!
