MirrorMask

Wow. What do you get when you combine the genious of Neil Gaiman, Dave McKean, and the Jim Henson Company? MirrorMask! For some totally unfathomable reason, this movie was never released to any theatres in Kansas City. I was released on DVD 5 days ago, we bought it and watched it on Bob and Ana’s big, beautiful, flatscreen, high-def television yesterday (thanks again guys!). It is fantastic! Visually stunning, the story is very original, the special effects are unlike anything I’ve ever seen. It’s like seeing Dave McKean’s art come to life, in fact, that’s exactly what it is. Go get it! You’ll want to watch it more than once! In fact, we may watch it again on our puny television this afternoon.

I think I’m going to add a high-def television to our registry!
